Job Summary/Overview
This position works within our Belting. The primary focus of this position will be on cutting, splicing, heat-pressing, and final inspecting of belt products both for in-house use and customer parts orders. Strict safety and quality standards must be adhered to, in accordance with CMCO Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Basic math skills with the ability to understand decimals.
- Complies with all safety procedures
- Must have good mechanical ability and be able to work with and build from prints.
- Use of measuring equipment (i.e. tape measures, calipers, etc.)
- This person must display initiative, have a positive attitude, be dependable, have safe working habits, and have a good overall attendance record
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with co-workers and management.
- Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
- Experience with Epicor ERP a plus
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work Overtime
- Meet attendance & punctuality requirements
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
