Job Summary/Overview

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system: Dtools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, improve Dtools processes, and ensure the system supports the organization's sales and quoting needs effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of business processes and requirements to ensure effective CPQ system design and functionality.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for system configuration.
  • Configure and maintain Dtools components, including product catalogs, pricing rules, and quote templates.
  • Assist with the implementation of new features and updates to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Assist with the development and execution of test plans to ensure Dtools meets functional and performance requirements.
  • Identify and resolve system issues and defects in a timely manner.
  • Analyze existing Dtools processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of Dtools.
  • Act as user support in setting up accounts, resolving user feedback issues related to all aspects of Dtools (pricing, product application, configuration rules, etc).
  • Manage Dtools related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new feature implementations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Facilitate communication between product technical teams and web applications developers to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of CPQ requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports on system performance and project progress to management.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • CMCO Conveyance product, conveyor application and product pricing knowledge through experience or hands-on training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence with technical documentation software and tools.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in written materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and logistics.
  • Competence with CPQ system tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in CPQ system administration, configuration, or analysis preferred.
  • Experience with CPQ software (Driveworks) preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
