Job Summary/Overview

The primary focus of this position will involve transporting material between Dorner locations and utilizing a forklift and/or pallet jack to deliver material to the appropriate locations.

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday

2:00pm - 12:30am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transports material via forklift and pallet jack.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy and resolves discrepancies.
  • Transports parts via cargo van and standard box truck between Dorner locations.
  • Monitors email requests from various departments throughout the day.
  • Pull items from inventory to fulfill orders
  • Potential receiving duties
  • Perform routine maintenance, report issues, and change fuel tanks.
  • Keep the work area clean and free of hazards

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience driving a forklift preferred. 

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Forklift Certification, current or through training at Dorner
