Job Summary/Overview

This position will work within the Engineered to Order assembly area at our Sussex Facility.  The primary focus of this position will be on assembling conveyors along with corresponding accessories, testing the conveyor, and packaging the final product for parcel freight shipments.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 

6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses a variety of hand tools to assemble all components of the conveyor according to print/work order.
  • Inspects finished product for defects and performs quality checks. 
  • Troubleshoots non-conforming parts throughout the assembly/electrical process.
  • Expedites orders as needed.
  • Collaborates with Engineers and Sales.
  • Performs 5S to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Works from schematic drawings to build and install electrical components.
  • Flex work as needed and assist in other ETO areas such as mechanical.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated basic blueprint and schematic reading skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
  • 1 + years of electrical experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.

Compensation

$20 - 25/hour + based on experience
