As a Flex Technician, you’ll support multiple departments and play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across the facility.
Work Schedule - 3 - Day weekend every week!
Monday - Thursday

Job Summary/Overview
The Flex Technician is a versatile, cross‑trained team member who supports multiple operational areas within the manufacturing facility. This role “flexes” between Assembly, Shipping & Receiving, and Fabrication based on daily production needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable learning new processes to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Flex between departments based on staffing needs, production schedules, or priority changes.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements 5S, and company policies as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth handoffs between departments.
- Participate in cross‑training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components and finished products according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices safely and accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment (training provided if needed).
- Assist with basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, grinding, or machine operation.
- Use of proper processes, procedures and OMS instructions, cycle counting procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties on machines & equipment as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- 2 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
- Certification for sit-down forklift, and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training.
- Valid drivers license preferred.
Compensation
$20+ per hour, depending on experience.
Additional $2/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.
