Job Summary/Overview

 This role will primarily build custom shipping crates for products being shipped.  You will use a saw to cut material and a nail gun to construct the crate.

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12:30am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position will work within the shipping and receiving department.
  • Perform picking/packing/shipping functions.
  • Identify conveyors and associated parts to measure for packaging.
  • Cut wood and build crates & skids for the conveyors and associated parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Experience using a saw preferred.

Compensation

$18 - $20 per hour, based on experience 

Additional hourly premium for 2nd shift
