Job Summary/Overview
This position will act as the Lead for the Receiving and MMC departments to ensure accuracy and flow of received parts, timely disposition to MMC, input into the storage systems/locations and onward to the cells. This is in addition to troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Work Schedule
6:00am - 2:30pm
Monday - Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of parts received against purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records.
- Communicates with internal customers and external vendors regarding shipment status, parts status, etc.
- Identifies and fixes receiving and inventory issues.
- Assists in developing and improving standardized work within the Receiving and MMC departments as well as improving safety, quality and delivery.
- Supports collaboration between departments to solve problems and seek solutions.
- Work alongside Shipping Manager and individual cells to improve upon receiving and inventory accuracy.
- Work in a safe manner to keep you and your team incident free.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of receiving activities and inventory control.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Lead and/or supervisorial experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivelant.
- Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
- Sit down forklift certified and/or willing to obtain. Stand up forklift certification preferred.
Compensation
Additional $2.50/hour lead premium.
