Job Summary/Overview
This Position operates the saw to create customized parts within tolerance of prints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews and organizes work orders.
- Set up measurements on the saw.
- Supplies the bar feeder with appropriate material.
- Runs and operates the saw.
- Deburrs finished parts using deburring wheel or other hand tools if necessary.
- Perform quality checks and measure finished parts using hand measurement tools, (micrometers, calipers, plug gauges & profilometers) to determine if they are within tolerance.
- Logs date and other details of job on work order.
- Communicate material needs to the lead and production planners.
- Performs basic PM’s and 5S in area.

- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Machine operating background preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
Work Schedule
6:00am - 2:30pm
Monday - Friday
Compensation
$18 - 22/hour
