Job Summary/Overview

Stuart Rush is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead HR operations during an important organizational transition. This role will oversee day-to-day while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, driving initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, leadership effectiveness, and organizational stability across a blended union and non-union manufacturing environment.

The HR Director will balance operational execution with forward-looking talent and workforce planning. This leader will ensure compliant, efficient HR processes while helping shape programs that support employee development, performance, and engagement. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an operational expert who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience with union labor relations, including CBA administration and grievance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance operational HR execution with broader workforce planning initiatives.
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance and Payroll.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment laws and wage and hour regulations.
  • Willingness to maintain a regular onsite presence at our two locations.
  • Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
