Job Summary/Overview

This role will act as a lead in the ETO (Engineered to Order) department to improve accuracy, quality, prioritization of work, and 5S standards as required. 

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 

6:00am - 2:30pm 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work alongside teammates to perform Conveyor assemblies in a customized product line.
  • Maintain rotation of tasks within the department and participate in daily Gemba board discussions.
  • Partner with the Supervisor and Production Manager and individual cells to meet on time delivery goals.
  • Act as primary trainer for new employees within the department. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and training needed for individuals within the department.
  • Work closely with engineering.
  • Establish daily and weekly 5S schedule for all team members to participate in as required. 
  • Work in a safe manner to keep you and your team incident free.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Lead and/or supervisorial experience or the willingness to obtain via training or coursework
  • Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent 
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • 1+ years of assembly experience preferred
