Job Summary/Overview
The focus of this position will be to work within the Sanitary Production area performing TIG welding.
Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday
2:00pm - 12:30am
4-Day Work Week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and various measuring equipment.
- Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, belt sander, and other miscellaneous hand tools.
- Interpret and manufacture to drawing specifications, customer requirements, and work order direction.
- Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements and inspect finished product for defects.
- Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.
- Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- Must be able to read blue prints.
- Be proficient in using various measurement tools to establish the configuration or position of a welding plan.
- Ability to weld within tight tolerances.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Previous experience in TIG welding of stainless steel.
Compensation
$19 - $25+ depending on experience
Additional $2/hour shift premium
