Currently we are searching for a purchaser to our CMCO Plant in Székesfehérvár, Hungary!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

On a day to day business You will:

  • keep in touch with the suppliers,
  • evaulate suppliers according to ISO 9001 (deadline, quality, accuracy, quality of the contact),
  • manage inventory, continuous supply of raw materials for the production considering the defined inventory targets,
  • monitor potential suppliers based on an approved supplier database,
  • handle and archive material certificates and quality certificates,
  • prepare contract blanket orders and manage available quantities,
  • release purchase orders and manage suppliers order confirmations for trade goods and production materials,
  • make regular price competition of products and materials among approved suppliers,
  • track supplier’s complaints, keep in touch with the technical department,
  • keep relevant product’s and supplier’s data up to date,
  • track open orders and keep the delivery deadlines up to date,
  • keep continuous contact with the sales, production and the logistic departments.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • The position requires good German and English knowledge. 
  • You have also need to have:
  • professional experience in MS Office (Word, Excel) and have experiences in working in an ERP system,
  • education in the commercial sector and good knowledge of administration and logistics,
  • technical interest / background,
  • experience in communicating with suppliers, evaluating suppliers, monitoring prices and conditions. 
  • You are familiar with purchasing guidelines and quality specifications.
