Job Summary/Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist ensures a consistent, accurate, and high‑quality digital presence of Columbus McKinnon across the EMEA region. The role supports regional growth initiatives, strengthens digital communication during an ongoing phase of strategic expansion, and ensures alignment across all digital platforms—particularly in the context of organizational developments such as the integration of Kito Crosby and product portfolio adjustments.
This role manages a broad digital system landscape, including Optimizely (Epi) CMS, Optimizely DAM, Inriver PIM, Salesforce CRM, and Pardot (Account Engagement) for marketing automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Digital Content & Website Management
- Maintain and support Optimizely CMS (Epi), DAM and PIM (Inriver) systems.
- Ensure accurate PIM data for ecommerce platforms, distributor portals and the customer portal.
- Maintain and update regional website content in alignment with global brand and platform guidelines.
- Optimize digital content for SEO, UI/UX, page performance and accessibility.
2. Creative Asset Development & Generative AI
- Use generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot based image tools or equivalent company‑approved platforms) to create high‑quality, realistic visual content for digital marketing, case studies and product storytelling.
- Develop alternative visual solutions where customer approvals for real-life photography and videos cannot be obtained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
3. Digital Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns for EMEA/APAC.
- Prepare digital assets, landing pages, email campaigns and product‑related content.
- Coordinate with Sales, Platform Product Management and Regional Marketing for campaign inputs.
- Support execution of global digital initiatives in regional markets.
4. Data, Governance & Documentation
- Support to maintain digital content libraries, marketing documentation, and regional content guidelines.
- Monitor website performance metrics and support optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with branding, legal requirements, and regulatory updates.

5. Multilingual Content Development
- Create and adapt English‑ and German‑language content (web, e-mail, social media, brochures).
- Ensure accuracy of product‑related information, technical data, and messaging.
- Maintain consistent terminology across the EMEA/APAC region.
6. Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Work with other departments, e.g. Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and the Global Digital Team.
- Provide digital support for product launches, events, partner initiatives, and internal communication.
- Coordinate with external agencies when required.
