Position: Electrical Engineer (Offer Management)

Location: Chennai, India

Job Summary/Overview

The Electrical Engineer (Offer Management) plays a key role supporting the offer
management team in Germany. He combines technical expertise with commercial thinking to create
competitive and technically sound tenders for customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Independent recognition of priorities and corresponding processing of customer requests.
• Analysis of customer requirements and tender documents
• Technical assessment of feasibility and risks
• Selection of suitable components, systems and technologies
• Creation of technical concepts and proposed solutions
• Calculation of technical services and resource requirements
• Using of wiring diagrams, device lists in Electrical CAD (Aucotec Engineering Base), that are
aligned to the internal specifications, performance requirements and safety standards.
• Ensuring needs-based communication in unclear situations
• Collaboration with sales to determine prices and calculate margins
• Consideration of delivery conditions, payment terms and contract clauses
• Preparation of tender documents, presentations and decision templates
• Optimisation of the tender strategy in terms of costs, benefits and competition

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

Experience with E-CAD Software (Aucotec Engineering Base) and Siemens Teamcenter PLM
(Product Lifecycle Management).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where creativity, cooperation, and communication are
key.
• Ability to keep track and organize work from multiple jobs at once, keeping deadlines.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Able to work within a global team in a remote working environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skill in German and English (Advanced)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
▪ Experience in a similar role are welcome
▪ Bilingual – German/English
▪ Knowledge in E-CAD Aucotec Engineering Base
▪ Knowledge in Teamcenter from Siemens
▪ Knowledge in SAP
