Job Summary/Overview

Responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, supervising junior staff, optimizing packaging costs, and ensuring accurate and efficient movement of goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Pick, measure, and pack materials precisely to ensure correct quantities and quality.
  • Manage and supervise two junior warehouse personnel, ensuring smooth operations and task completion.
  • Optimize packaging methods to reduce costs while maintaining product safety and quality.
  • Ensure clear and accurate documentation of goods movement for seamless tracking.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of products to improve handling, storage, and shipping efficiency.
  • Maintain regular attendance and reliability, ensuring no disruptions in warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with carriers, generate shipping labels and documentation, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Process returns, inspect products for damages or defects, and manage restocking or disposal.
  • Assist with inventory audits, compliance checks, and contribute to improving warehouse processes and efficiency.
     

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems, emails, and shipping documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and follow workplace safety guidelines.
  • Ability to generate E-way bills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Outlook + MS office complete Knowledge
