Job Summary/Overview
Responsible for managing tender processes, overseeing techno-commercial bid documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring successful participation in rail and metro projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor upcoming Machine & Plant (M&P) tenders and take timely action.
- Analyze competitor data, including techno-commercial aspects.
- Prepare questionnaires for pre-bid meetings and attend them when needed.
- Deliver presentations and engage in negotiations when required.
- Request extensions or clarifications from the depot team when necessary.
- Compile, review, and organize tender documents, addendums, and corrigenda.
- Identify and shortlist potential sub-suppliers for M&P items.
- Conduct cost analysis to determine suitable sub-suppliers for tenders.
- Review cost structures and critically assess profit margins.
- Prepare legal, technical, and commercial bid documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with tender terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with project and service teams to finalize cost and margin calculations.
- Develop expertise in handling government tender platforms such as IREPS and GEM.
- Oversee bid preparation and ensure timely submission.
- Stay prepared for reverse auctions when applicable.
- Conduct win/loss analysis to refine future bidding strategies.
- Coordinate contract registration and processing efficiently.
- Support project and service teams with necessary techno-commercial documentation.
- Obtain approvals for travel and visits, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Maintain industry awareness and collaborate across departments to enhance bidding strategies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in project sales, tender management, or techno-commercial roles.
- Ability to independently manage bidding processes and strategic decision-making.
