Position: Executive Spare Parts (Offer Management) 

Location: Chennai, India

Job Summary/Overview

Identify sales opportunities through market presence. Determine customer needs. Actively support representatives in offering standard products with extensive accessories. Present and follow up on offers together with representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing quotations for our customers worldwide based on the existing price list
• Processing spare parts orders
• Checking orders for technical and commercial accuracy
• Advising customers and field staff, submitting proposals for solutions and, if necessary, clarifying
matters with the specialist departments
• Setting deadlines based on documents or internal clarification and follow-up
• Compliance with SOX requirements
• Good cooperation with the export control officer

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

• Good technical product knowledge with several years of professional experience
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office/AS400/Sales Manager Professional/data archiving systems
• Very good SAP skills are an advantage
• Sales-oriented thinking and acting
• Strong communication skills and a pronounced customer focus
• Responsible, independent and structured way of working, initiative and ability to work in a team

Required Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in a commercial or industrial field
• very good German language skills
• very good English language skills
• read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Know device lists and parts lists
