Job Summary/Overview

Position Summary:

As a Spare Parts Sales & Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the sales of spare parts, providing technical support to customers, and ensuring the efficient operation of service activities. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, offer solutions, and maintain strong relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Management: Promote and sell spare parts to new and existing customers, including upselling and cross-selling related products.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding the selection, installation, and maintenance of spare parts.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate and manage service activities, including scheduling maintenance and repair services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary parts.
  • Order Processing: Handle customer orders, process payments, and manage backorders.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, service activities, and inventory.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components and their applications.
  • Sales Ability: Proven ability to promote and sell products effectively.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and address their needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and service schedules.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales and technical support, proven track record in selling original parts and AMCs 
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and CRM software.
