Job Summary/Overview

To provide effective, efficient customer service to resolve client needs in spare parts provision overseeing the entire life cycle from enquiry through to goods receipt and any after sales needs with the client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Is the ‘Go To’ for all blue brand spare parts enquiries and issues, troubleshooting problems accordingly to identify customer needs 
  • Is ‘customer centric’ in delivering customer support with ease, accuracy and honesty 
  • Prepares and sends pre-sales information, quotation, order acknowledgements and maintains a dialogue with customers on progress of orders 
  • Accepts responsibility for maintaining efficient provision of service for all blue brand spare parts sales orders to agreed and communicated timescales 
  • Draws insights from data to make recommendations to improve service provision 
  • Maintains awareness of brand positioning in market
  • Works closely with Spare Parts Manager 
  • Liaises with U.S. and EMEA-based and other Inter-Company contacts as well as with customers, logistics companies and forwarders 
  • Ensures packaging, shipping and export documentation is comprehensive and correct to avoid rejections and/or delays 
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver and sustain an unrivalled spare parts sales service that exceeds customer expectations     
  • Assist with product training documents, paperwork requirements and copy documentation 
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on your product area on demand 
  • Adherent to all legal, regulatory and statutory requirements, Company H & S, Quality and Code of Conduct requirements and procedures 
  • Other ad-hoc duties commensurate with the scope of the role
     

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Strong industry and technical knowledge of products and their respective applications including cranes, hoists, lifting equipment generally
  • Microsoft 365, SAP, Salesforce CRM required
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Effective communication and upselling skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve set targets, goals, metrics

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years+ in a similar role preferably in the lifting industry
  • Lifting industry qualification advantageous 
  • Masters / Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Domain
